It helped me to overcome RSI
Geraldine's teaching of the Alexander Technique helped me to overcome repetitive strain injury. My posture has improved enormously and my back feels stronger and freer.

Back ache sorted and more control
I had only a vague idea what the Alexander Technique was when I started – I just wanted something that would sort out my bad back.
After lessons with Geraldine my back ache has gone and I'm more relaxed and comfortable in the way I stand, walk and sit.
But the best thing is that I now feel I have more control over what happens to my body. I know how to prevent problems happening in the first place.

A difference after
the first session
After my first session I felt a difference. I am now more aware of the tension in my body. I do get sports injuries, but they seem more short-term. What were regular headaches have disappeared. I wholeheartedly recommend the AT and Geraldine.

Neither intrusive nor a waste of time
I thought the Alexander Technique might be either intrusive or a waste of time. It is neither. Geraldine started to make a difference straight away with a gentle approach which reduced stress rather than adding to it.

I am a member of the Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique (STAT)

I completed a three-year, full-time course to qualify as a teacher in 1999

I was trained by Walter and Dilys Carrington at the Constructive Teaching Centre

I teach AT classes for Lewisham Community Education, workshops for a variety of organisations and have a private practice based in South London

My private lessons are given in Streatham or Crystal Palace. They last approximately 40 minutes and cost £28 each

Both locations have excellent transport links and there is plenty of free parking near my Streatham base
